Overview

Do you love Italian food and want to know more about it? Need to get away from city life to smell the trees or hug a baby goat?

Discover all about sustainable farming by spending a fun week on Onofrio's family-run Agriturismo. Learn all about the Mediterranean diet by participating in the seasonal activities of food production and preparation.

You can spend as much time as you like in the veg garden, collect seasonal fruits or nuts from the orchard or go out foraging in de woods and fields nearby.

Mama Caterina will welcome you into her kitchen, where she'll show you some of the secret tricks passed down to her through the generations and tell you all about the local recipes and traditions.

Her son Onofrio will take you out on some of the seasonal activities on the farm, like making sausages, cheese, wine or oil. Or you can join in on taking the goats and sheep out to pasture, join in on the grape harvest or the sowing activities for next season.

You can pick an excursion nearby from a wide choice of things to do and visit, like the Pertosa caves or the impressive Carthusian monastery in Padula. The first excursion is on the house. If you would like to venture out more, we'll be happy to help you book another.

You can reach Onofrio with your own transportation. If you need help booking a rental car, we are happy to do so, free of charge.

Onofrio offers an ideal place for couples, families or small groups who want to have a meaningful and active holiday, close to nature.
